Sofia's heart surgery went well
Sofia's heart surgery went well. The many challenges of preparing for the surgery are all melted away as Sofia laughs with her family in San Quintin.
I am grateful to the Korea Heart Foundation, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, and the Intercession Team of the Church of Love for helping me with the surgery. The remaining amount of the funded surgery cost was used to build a classroom in Burundi, Africa, and to repair a collapsed bridge in Senegal.
Saving Sofia's life was a huge thank you. We are grateful for the dedication of Missionary David and his wife at the Clinica Medica Gratuita, San Quintin Health Center for Sophia's surgery, for the meaningful decisions of the remaining donations after surgery, and for all that we were able to accompany many anonymous supporters.
